If you're looking for a family atmosphere, or just something laid back with a nostalgic vibe this is a great place! I'd suggest going on an empty stomach if you want a meal and ice cream because the servings were plentiful. I did spend about 20 a person but keep in mind that we had a meal and dessert. If you have one or the other it would obviously cost less....and sometimes ice cream for dinner hits the spot, I'm just saying. I am on vacation and I can honestly say I have every intention of visiting again before I leave... which is a big deal for me because when I go on vacation I like to try as many different places as possible.... highly recommend!
We love to eat here since it’s always fresh great food that is reasonably priced and nice big portions. Great service...it’s our go to place.
2023... take out Little difference between last year's visit. Newport Creamery Burgers weren't very good at all. Over cooked and sides, slaw was days old tasting, fries to go (difficulty keep hot). They messed up the order two no cheese, one with cheese. Nope... Could have been much cleaner than it was, several staff standing and talking. Tables and floors needed attention for new guests. In my opinion. More talking, and paying attention to the order would have been nice.... I will try again... But not pleased this year. 2022 Love the Newport Creamery style burgers, my favorite with their relish. So good we went back again the next day with my father. Who doesn't like ice cream? Great variety of flavors. Awesome ice cream floats. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Our servers both days were very friendly. Busy cleaning in between customers. I like clean places to dine.
Great food, especially their breakfast. The Holy Cow Breakfast, which comes with pretty much everything offered, is my usual go to. For lunch or dinner I like to get the appetizer sampler, crunchy grilled cheese, or turkey club. They have really good milkshakes and ice cream too.
Friendly service, clean counters. Still the fluffiest whipped cream ever, with the under counter whipped cream dispenser. Thank you for keeping frozen pudding ice cream on the menu.
Had an early dinner which included perhaps the best hot dog I ever had. Big hotdog on a traditional buttered and grilled roll. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. The restaurant is understaffed (like most these days), but a good server made up for it.
Food was amazing and the staff did a great job. We went for an Awful Awful at busy time of day and it was obvious that they were understaffed yet everyone had smiles on their faces.
I did take out service for Ice Cream and this one was so Yummy.
